I’m often been asked about my daily routine, activities, tasks I prioritise and the numbers I focused on. These questions always intrigue me because they reveal where aspiring salespeople are in their journey.  

When I started in sales, each role brought unique challenges—different products, varied expectations, and distinct targets.  

Before founding Your Sales Co, I focused on building robust sales functions, heavily driven by processes. Consistency was key; I knew my routine would be my constant, enabling me to rebound from setbacks and persistently pursue my goals. 

Moving to Australia presented a fresh challenge.  

With no prior connections in the tech industry I immersed myself in learning. Beyond formal training, I focused on online resources—from vendor accreditations to YouTube tutorials ensuring I had a strong understanding of products and services at a high level; this enabled me to push conversations towards outcomes rather than getting lost in technical details. 

In those early months, I prioritised learning and customer understanding.  

My routine included extensive outbound calls, strategic email campaigns, and leveraging LinkedIn for connections.  

Achieving 25 meetings per week was a results of hard work and focus on building a pipeline of opportunities.. Over time, I learned to balance volume with quality—focusing on prospects with shorter sales cycles and clearer decision-making processes. 

I worked smart, instead of chasing after heavily contested markets, I targeted mid-sized enterprises and industrial estates. This approach allowed me to build meaningful relationships and stand out from the competition; it wasn't about doing less but about optimising efforts to maximize results—finding the path of least resistance in sales.  about hitting numbers, it's about continuous learning, adapting strategies, and refining approaches.

Today, I help sales teams replicate these successes through structured frameworks and targeted client engagement strategies using the examples and use cases of my past and current experiences (similar to what I share here and across our other platforms).

My journey to $10 million in sales per year was built upon disciplined execution and strategic adaptation.
